Doug Penley, serving as Executive Vice President Strategic Insurance Partnerships at ISU, oversees carrier relations, carrier data and analytics, and marketplace technology teams. With over 25 years in the insurance industry, Doug brings extensive experience, having held diverse roles, including agency ownership, regional sales leadership at a major US carrier, and key positions in placement & carrier relations at a large agency. 

Prior to his new role, Doug served as a carrier relations leader at ISU, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with key carriers and wholesalers as well as optimizing insurance solutions for members.

Matthew Albertson is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Insurance Partnerships at ISU. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Matt has demonstrated a remarkable progression from field-based sales roles to senior leadership positions. In past roles, Matt has successfully implemented an underwriting management system for a specialty carrier, which included developing an agency portal and a custom-built customer relationship management (CRM) tool. 

In his previous work with a prominent super-regional insurance carrier, Matt established the Strategic Partnerships division, offering leadership and support for national brokers and aggregator relationships across the company's extensive footprint.
